Bokabas is the story of two brothers from Bordeaux, Lucas and Théo, who set off without a perfect plan or a polished business model, just the urge to create everyday pieces unlike anything else: colorful, printed, unapologetic.

It all started at the outdoor markets of southwestern France, where we sold our very first tote bags. And at every stall, we heard the same thing: “Qu'ils sont beaux, vos cabas!” (“What beautiful totes!”). Beaux cabas… say it out loud, and Bokabas was born.

To this day, we're still a tiny team, and proud of it: we're the ones who dream up the collections, choose every print and every color, inspect every production run… and read your emails. When you write to Bokabas, there's a real person with a real name behind the reply.

For us, color is a signature and prints are a no-brainer, and every piece is designed to make you fall in love at first sight, then to last, because a crush that wears out in one season isn't really a crush.

Our mission hasn't changed since day one: to bring a little sunshine into your everyday life, one tote, one pouch, one bag at a time.
