Our commitmentsUpdated 3 hours ago
We'd rather talk about what we actually do than make grand promises. Here are our concrete commitments, which you can see in our everyday practices:
- Producing the right amount: every product is launched in limited quantities, then restocked based on real demand. No overproduction, no destroyed unsold stock.
- Designing to last: materials chosen for how well they hold up over time, a detailed care guide for each material, and 30 days to change your mind. One product that lasts for years beats three that wear out in a season.
- Checking what we sell: independent quality inspections are carried out at our production sites before every shipment.
- Wasting nothing: defective products pulled from sale are donated to charities, and returns in perfect condition are inspected and put back in stock. No product ends up in the trash (SEE “What happens to our defective products?”).
Where do we stand on certifications?
In all transparency: we don't have any certification yet, and we'd rather not display anything we can't prove. When we get one, you'll read about it here first.
Our goal: B Corp. It's one of the most demanding certifications in the world for environmental and social impact and transparency: more than 200 criteria, each one proven, documented and audited. It takes resources and a track record that we're building, one decision at a time. We're not there yet, but it's the standard we have in mind as we grow Bokabas.
